ELNITCO was the first locally based company with international reputation that was awarded in August 2002 a contract from Abu Dhabi Municipality to operate in the Eastern Region a 5 years O & M contract for the Sewage Treatment Plants (STP’s), their Pumping Stations & Sewer Networks. This contract has been extended twice till February 2008.
Based on its performance, ELNITCO in August 2003 entered into contracts with Abu Dhabi Municipality to manage all the STP’s in Western Region areas I & II, their pumping stations & sewers networks. The contracts have been extended till February 2012.
These O&M contracts for the STP’s have been transferred in January 2006 to become part of ADSSC scope & responsibility.
